King House has two common areas. The main area on entry level boasts a state of the art kitchen, featuring two ovens, two gas powered hot plates (4 burners each) and a large refrigerator. There is a communal dining table that seats 12 people and there are numerous sofas, a pool table and 60 inch TV with Foxtel connected. This is also air conditioned.

The other common area is on level 2 and whilst it also has a 50 inch TV with Foxtel is has been designed as a quiet reading area for comfort. Both Common Areas are WiFi enabled.
